FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How much will it cost to have our lights installed?

Each property is different, and each one deserves its own special attention and customized quote. Contact us today or visit our online quote page, for an installer to contact you regarding the price.

Do you take the lights down at the end of the season?

Yes, our price includes setup, maintenance if there are any issues, and takedown at the end of season.

Do I rent the decor from you, or do we own it?

We currently do not rent any decor. We can purchase the lights for you, but they become your lights for the life of them. This ultimately leads to cost savings for you, and each subsequent year you only pay for services & upgrades or minor replacements.

Can you store the lights, if so what is the cost?

We do offer storage for customers who do not have room for their decor. Should you terminate your business with us in preceding years, just contact us and we will deliver your lights.

Is there a labor warranty just in case the lights stop working or there is another problem?

There is a limited labor warranty with each job that we do. Check out the resources section of the contact page for the exact breakdown of what work is covered.

Do you recommend the lights we need to buy, or do we just pick up what we think we will need?

Due to quality control concerns and liability issues, we no longer use lights purchased by the homeowner. We use only high quality LED Commercial grade lights and product. We will go over the expected cost and how many you will need before we go order them.

Will we need to hire an electrician?

In most situations an electrician will not need to be hired. When the installer comes out to provide an in-person quote, or receives the online submission, you will be asked about the existing electrical availability on the exterior or your home, in order to determine if an electrician is necessary for the size of your display.

Do we need to be home for the installation?

It is not necessary for you to be home during the installation, as long as any existing lights, extension cords, or other decor is out and accessible.

Do your installers carry any accessories or additional extension cords in case they are needed?

Our installers will carry a limited supply of extension cords and other supplies such as light clips and ties. These items will be added to your invoice but become yours to keep.

What happens if my lights go out during the rain?

We take every measure possible to ensure that your lights stay on all season long. In the even of heavy rains or snow, lights may turn off due to GFCI outlets tripping. While some installers may remove them and replace with standard outlets, we do not change any electrical on your home. When a GFCI trips due to water intrusion in the line, this is an intentional safety measure to ensure your home does not catch fire. One of the ways we try to mitigate water intrusion, is by taping all of the exposed female outlets and joints with electrical tape. In extreme weather events, water may still find its way in. During these times of heavy moisture, it is best to wait until it’s done raining, and then press the “RESET” button on your outdoor GFCI outlet.
